A latecomer to music, Mary Gauthier has certainly made up for lost time with each of her sublime albums. Her latest work, The Foundling, is an autobiographical song cycle and is yet another triumph for Mary Gauthier as a singer-songwriter. On the eve of her latest tour to Australia to perform The Foundling live, she took the time recently to chat with CHQ about the album and the paths in her life that have led her to music as a career.

Also up for the main title of Entertainer of the Year is previous winner Brad Paisley, sophomore stars Lady Antebellum and Zac Brown Band, as well Australia's very own Keith Urban.
